How’s the Bite? Week 4 October 21, 2022

We made it a month!  
Bob Urbain and I are both proud.
We talk fishing on the upper Mississippi River.  Murray Tackle and Bait is a half mile from Lock and Dam 10 in Guttenberg, Iowa.
He's got EVERYTHING you need to catch fish in this river.
We talk with anglers, DNR, lure makers and Bob closes with the fishing report.
The only concern is if Hank Williams Junior is right.  Stay to the end. Its worth it.

How’s the Bite? Episode 3 October 14, 2022

Hello Everyone!  This was a windy week on Pools 10 and 11 near Guttenberg, Iowa.
Bob Urbain (Urban) is having a big tent sale at Murray Tackle and Bait.  That's bringing in lots of folks who have been fishing or are planning to do so.
Perch seem to be the lead this week.  Walleye need the right bait.  Have you heard of "Willow Cats"?  They are the KILLER Walleye bait but a scented plastic lure is out.  The owner of the company talks about his journey in the fishing industry.
How about "Widow Maker" lures?  Another entrepreneur in Iowa makes a line of fishing lures from tungsten.  He tells us why he uses that metal and what lure color goes with what fish.

We are back for our second week!

Bob Urbain (Urban) owns Murray Bait and Tackle and has the latest on new technology in fishing, rechargeable devices and a bit of etiquette on how to keep from dumping cold water on boat ramps.  It can turn to ice and the next fisherman or duck hunter may slide in.
